Shocking: Futminna post-graduate student stab to death by her boyfriend

The Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State and its community has been in total grief as they mourn the untimely death of a female post-graduate student, Bolatito Ajuola after she was murder (stab to death) by her supposed fiancee.

The decease who was a student of  Science Education was stabbed to death by her supposed fiancee at about 11pm on Monday in her resident outside the school ( off-campus).

According to eyewitness, the fiancee, Best Origboshe used to work in a company owned by the deceased's father in Ondo State, which is where they started their romance. Origboshe joined Ajuola in Minna when he claimed he lost his job

On the day of the unfortunate event, an argument is said to have evolved between the duo over Origboshe shunning Ajuola's food claiming it was too hot to swallow. This argument led to a  knife fight between the two.

Another witness, (name withheld) said, she rushed to the kitchen and grab a knife with which she injured her fiancee with it. The man in retaliation, went to the nearest shop to purchase a knife which later became the murder weapon he use to stab Ajuola in her breast and stomach.

A professor in the university, who heard the noise from the house, rushed both Ajuola and Origboshe to a hospital, where she was confirmed dead.

Origboshe has been handed over to the police for further investigation and the parent of the deceased  were said to have arrived Minna to recovered the remain of their daughter from the morgue at the General Hospital, Minna.

The State Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, confirmed the incident, adding that investigations had commenced in pertaining the case.
