Serena Williams Reacted to IIie Nastase Racial Comments About Her Unborn Baby

Serena Williams reacted to the comment made by the Romanian Tennis Captain IIie Nastase about her unborn baby.

The athlete shared a fascinating message on her Instagram in response to the ill comment made by the Romanian Tennis Captain about her unborn baby and how disappointed she felt hearing that coming from him.
Nastase made the racist comment, "Let's see what color it has, Chocolate with milk?' during a recent press conference held at the Fed Cup in Romania.

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) launched an investigation to look into the incident of which Williams gave her full supports.

The message she shared captioned,

"It disappoints me to know we live in a society where people like Ilie Nastase can make such racist comments towards myself and unborn  child, and sexist comments against my peers,"

"I have said it once and I'll say it again, this world has come so far but  yet we have so much further to go," Williams added. "Yes, we have  broken down so many barriers—however there are a plethora more to  go."  "This or anything else will not stop me from pouring love, light and  positivity into everything that I do. I will continue to take a lead and stand for what's right."

"I am not afraid unlike you. You see, i am no coward."  Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom? You may shoot me with your words... you may try to kill me with your hatefulness, but still like air, i rise."

"I humbly thank the ITF for any consideration given to all the facts in this case. They will have my full support."

The professional athlete shared a selfie shot of herself and her baby bump and at that moment, wrote a beautiful letter to her world No.1 (unborn baby). The 20-Weeks pregnant athlete has been seen spending her pregnancy vacation with her fiancĂ©e Alex Ohanian.
And earlier today, the-mother-to-be shared a cute message to her unborn baby on her Instagram, which captioned:
My Dearest Baby, You gave me the strength I didn’t know I had. You taught me the true meaning of serenity and peace. I can't wait to meet you. I can't wait for you to join the players box next year. But most importantly, I am so happy to share being number one in the world with you.... once again today.
