Another Star and Comedian Gone: Charles Murphy Dies

    The American actior, comedian, voice artist and writer Charles Quintom Murphy died at the age of 57 from leukemia in New York city, US on Wednesday. He was the brother to Eddie Murphy.

He is survived by his brother and three children. He lost his wife Tisha Talyor Murphy in 2009 to a cervical cancer.

Charles has appeared in several movies and comedy shows, including "Lottery Ticket", "Jungle Fever" and "CB4"

Charlie and Eddie, worked together several times on Eddie's movies. They co-wrote the screenplay to the 2007 comedy film Norbit as well as the script to the 1995 movie Vampire in Brooklyn, along with their brother Vernon Lynch, Jr.
A day before his death, Murphy tweeted: "One to sleep on: Release the past to rest as deeply as possible". Never knew death was at the corner
